Motability help people with disability's to obtain a car or electric scooter or powered wheelchair. You need to be receiving the higher rate mobility part of the disability living allowance to be eligible for their help.

CINEMA EXHIBITOR'S ASSOCIATION CARD

The CEA Card can be used nationally and verifies that the holder is entitled to one free ticket for the person accompanying them to the cinema. To be eligible you need to be either receiving disability living allowance or attendance allowance or be a registered blind person. The card is accepted at Cineworld in Newport.

Full details about each therapist and how to contact them is given including any professional regulatory bodies that they belong to. At the moment there only seems to be one therapist registered on the site that works on the Island but hopefully with time more will become available.

Medical alert emblems can be purchased from this charity which provide details of your medical history, so if in an emergency you were unable to communicate with the attending medical team they would be able to see from the emblem any allergies you may have or any medical conditions that they would need to be aware of before administering any treatment. Medicalert also keeps secure detailed information from their members that can be updated anytime. This information can then be accessed in an emergency, 24hrs a day, 7 days a week from anywhere in the world using their emergency telephone number and they are able to converse in over 100 languages.
